Cabrillo is excited to offer Interpretive Host Training this year. The training will take place over two days in the park auditorium and will also include a segment on Roving Interpretation. Training dates are 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2016 and 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016.

Our instructor, Crystal DeSoto, is certified by the National Association for Interpretation and the class can hold 20 participants. We do ask that if you take this class we will expect you to volunteer at least 8 hours a month in the “front country” areas of the park. This can be at the VC or roving in the lighthouse/overlook areas. If you are interested, please RSVP to Debbie Sherman (deborah_sherman@nps.gov) by Tuesday, January 5th
