Things are picking up in the New Year this week.  There’s plenty to see and do.

Help guide the volunteer program at CNM by participating in the Volunteer Navigation Committee (VNC) meeting at 10:00 AM on Saturday, 10 January.  When you’re done, stick around to learn about life as a 16th century sailor at 1:30 PM.

If you’ve coordinated with Tavio to be trained on the new Trails & Rails program, that training is scheduled for Tuesday, 13 January through Thursday, 15 January.

Learn the Highlights of Cabrillo NM on a walk with our volunteer, Lonie, at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, 13 January.

On Friday, there’s the walk Discover Native Point Loma starting at 1:00 PM with volunteer Pat.

Finally, Saturday, 17 January and Sunday, 18 January is our annual Whale Watch Weekend and Intertidal Life Festival, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM each day.
