The Maritime Museum of San Diego has set the launch date for the replica of Cabrillo’s flagship, the San Salvador.  It’s hull will touch saltwater for the first time at 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2015.  Not all details of the launch have been finalized yet, but you can keep informed here:
