Open Tower, August 25th
It is upon us. The gate removed, the door unlocked with brass skeleton key and there you stand, the best view Cabrillo can offer to the public. Thanks to those who help us on this day. It is a great way to interact with visitors regarding our cultural stories along with our natural ones and all the going ons at the park. Lecture Series/Continuing Education
You are the Light of Our Eyes, August 20th, 6:30pm
Please Join us for a communal evening of food and history and listen to a wonderful presentation from Kim and Karen our lighthouse keepers. This is a great opportunity for you to learn about the lighthouse and enjoy it as it is; sitting up on this hill as a shining beacon. Pollination for the Ages, August 27th, 6:00pm
You are most bodaciously invited to attend a presentation about procreation; you know the birds and the bees, except with no birds. Please join us as pollinator ecologist James Hung shares his enthusiasm of native bees, their importance in San Diego County, his research and the bee’s future. Slender in the Visitor Center
From August 12th to the 22nd we are a little shorthanded and make the call for assistance from you in the Visitor Center. Please sign up on volgistics if you can. Interested in the visitor center? Trail and Rails
To those of you that have attended the trainings and waiting anxiously to get onboard we approach the next stage. Please contact me as we need to get you set up with your T&R shirts that you wear on your rides. Also if you have not yet completed your fact finding rides let’s get you all set up to do those. Please contact me.

To the many folks that have roamed around here feeling lost with no identity and those that have been waiting to get that identity, we are getting the upper hand on this.
