Here’s the line-up of activities at Cabrillo 7-16 November:

On Saturday, there’s the second day of the Empires of the Wind seminar at the Maritime Museum of San Diego beginning at 8:30 AM.  Pre-registration was required.

CNMF is hosting its “Meet the Authors” series where you can meet the authors from the Ocean Beach Historical Society and learn about their book Ocean Beach.  The event runs 11 AM – 2 PM on Saturday.

Also on Saturday, the Dusty Socks Club is hosting a walk through the Tijuana River Estuary from 2 – 4 PM.

Take a moment on Tuesday to reflect on Veterans Day, and then participate in our newest VIP-led nature hike along the Sea Cove Trail from 1 – 2 PM.

Wednesday is the NPS Open House from 4 – 7 PM to hear public comments about the proposed entrance fee increase.

Walk along the top of Point Loma on Friday with our other new VIP-led nature walk, Discover Native Point Loma, from 1 – 2 PM.

Saturday marks the 159th anniversary of the lighthouse light first being lighted on 15 November 1855, and we celebrate it each year with Lighthouse Open Tower Day from 10 AM – 3:30 PM.
