Help commemorate the 160th anniversary of the Old Point Loma Lighthouse being placed into service on 15 November 1855 by volunteering to assist with our last Open Tower Day of the year. Please sign up in Volgistics if you can help out.
As a reminder, the Open Tower Days each year are:
- 22 March – Anniversary of the light being extinguished for the last time (1891)
- 25 August – National Park Service Founder’s Day
- 15 November – Anniversary of the light being placed in service for the first time (1855)
There was no way to sign up on Volgistics, no special events. Did I miss it??
Please check again. We may have posted the opportunity before the openings were created in Volgistics.
