Activities of Interest at theNAT

The San Diego Natural History Museum has a few things that may be of continuing education interest to VIPs.

First there’s a new exhibition, Whales: Giants of the Deep, that opens 19 March and will run through 5 September 2016. Related to the new exhibition, Dr. Tom Demere, Curator of Paleontology, will give a lecture, Evolutionary History of Baleen Whales, at 7 p.m., Thursday, 21 April 2016 ($9 for museum members; $12 for non-members).

Related to last year’s Pollination Project exhibition (which will be making another appearance at CNM this summer), is a lecture next week by Dr. Joseph S. Wilson, Bees in your Backyard, at 7 p.m., Thursday, 24 March 2016 ($9 for museum members; $12 for non-members).

Lectures are generally limited to around 300 people and can sell out quickly.
