Two awesome separate training events—rolled into a day of fun.

• If you volunteer in the Visitor Center you are highly encouraged to attend this training.
• If you plan on working for Open Tower Day or just want to know more about the lighthouse please come to this training too.
• If you know nothing about either area of the park, you are also highly encouraged to join us!

For a small portion of your Saturday you will learn so much. We will go over best practices and standard operating procedures for the Visitor Center. Learn about the history and keepers that tended the Old Point Loma Lighthouse and we will feed you an awesome lunch from a local Point Loma restaurant.

General Schedule

10:00 a.m.–11:45 a.m. – Visitor Center training and tour

11:45 a.m.–12:30 p.m. – Lunch, courtesy of CNMF

12:30 p.m.–2:00 p.m. – Lighthouse presentation, tour and Open Tower Day procedures
