Cabrillo Field Notes – Albinism versus Leucism: In the Wild and at Our Parks

This field note was written by one of three new Conservation and Environmental Stewardship Apprenctices: Felix is 14 yr. old. This is her first field note.

Summer is one of three ambassador snakes here at Cabrillo National Monument. Our ambassador snakes’ goal is to help educate visitors about local snake species and to help erase harmful misconceptions about local snakes.
