Virtual View Kiosks Enable Visitors to Explore America’s Natural, Historical and Cultural Treasures in Advance of National Park Service’s Centennial Celebration in 2016
NEW YORK (April 2, 2015) – In advance of next year’s National Park Service Centennial, the Park Service and the National Park Foundation today kicked off a nationwide campaign to encourage people to learn about and connect with the 407 national parks by launching a one-of-a-kind interactive installation that invites them to share their stories about their favorite parks and discover new parks and public lands they might want to visit. VIP’ers,
Happy New Year! A good Cabrillo Fest it was; busy as usually and we appreciate the VIP help for the events. TPERP training is over and we had a great turnout. ‘Tis the season and we have a new cadre of volunteers ready to learn about ye ol’ Cabrillo wet butt. Welcome, have fun, and stay safe out there. Also, we have several interns from UCSD’s Environmental Systems program that you might see around. Please welcome them and assist in their learnings about our great park.
