Danielle Cardiff was added to the Cabrillo National Monument team in March 2016 as an education intern. She is currently working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability at San Diego State University. Her passion for environmental ethics and her previous wildlife experience put her on a dynamic pathway for wilderness education. Since joining the team, Danielle has created over twenty projects for Cabrillo’s Boy and Girl Scout Ranger program. Moreover, she has developed a new snake curriculum, which utilizes Cabrillo National Monument’s reptile ambassadors in themed weekly educational events. Danielle has always loved nature, and has camped, hiked, and ridden horses since she was a kid. She plans to continue her effort with the National Park Service, and wants to focus on expanding programs in the Interpretation Department.
