Although we have lost our dear friend Pauline, you can still help honor her memories.
We recently provided a number of ways to honor her through the Meal Train for her parents as well as a tribute donation to the Cabrillo National Monument Foundation. Those both continue to be ways today to help out.
An additional way to help out is to donate to PAWS of Coronado. After an exhaustive search to find a home for Pauline’s two cats, Meg and Ryan, there was no choice for the family but to give them to the Humane Society.
But wait, there’s more.
We didn’t give up yet. We still had a few days once they were at the Humane Society before they would go on the individual adoption list. That wasn’t good enough for us as we really wanted them to be adopted together. VIP Tansy went the extra mile and asked her vet for some contacts. We contacted several organizations, explaining the situation and how we were desperately trying to find someone who would keep them together.
Almost immediately, PAWS of Coronado called. After we gave them some information about Meg and Ryan, they were able to find them at the Humane Society and agreed to bring them to PAWS and keep them together. They will work to find them a forever home, which we have every confidence they will.
Several of us visited PAWS Saturday morning and got a tour of their facilities. They are a caring, loving organization and are allowing Meg and Ryan to currently adjust and destress. Several of us have made monetary donations to PAWS and we asked what would be the best way to help them. They said monetary donations are always welcome but they also have an Amazon Wishlist for items they need at the clinic.
If you need more proof why we feel confident that PAWS is the right place, here is one of their stories about Karen Dwinell and the Gift of Trust. It is compassionate stories like this that make us believe the people at PAWS are the right ones to help Meg and Ryan find a forever home.
So an additional way to help honor Pauline, and her cats, is to help out PAWS of Coronado through a monetary donation or through the Amazon wishlist.
We want to give a big shoutout to PAWS for helping us out in desperate times.
THANK YOU PAWS of Coronado!
Please help honor Pauline through your support. Thank you.

Great! PAWS does an incredible job
