Tidepool Season is Open
Several TPERP volunteers helped Cabrillo officially open the tidepool season today. Today’s 0.7 ft was the first daytime low tide of the season when the park is open. The weather was perfect and the visitors enjoyed having the volunteers available to help learn about the Rocky Intertidal. Tidepool volunteers can sign up for shifts. A huge thank you to those volunteers who braved the early hour and humidity on July 29th to come out and help us remove graffiti from the tidepool area. The graffiti carvings in the rocks are illegal and ugly, and they damage the resource.
