Our own Ranger Lauren will be speaker this Thursday as part of the Santa Monica National Recreational Area (SAMO) Virtual Speaker Series. Lauren, our Marine biologist, will be talking about “Rocky Intertidal monitoring and tidepool visitation at Cabrillo”.

Cabrillo has been monitoring the rocky intertidal since the mid 1990’s and collecting visitation data along the Coastal trail for years. Several reports have been written and are available in the Tidepool Ecology section in the ebinder. It’s been several years since the latest report was written so Lauren will be bringing us the latest information.
